Perched on the eastern slopes of West Seattle, this full-scale remodel features a custom deck rebuild, a sunroom renovation, and a comprehensive exterior upgrade designed for long-term performance in the Pacific Northwest. The project began with a complete teardown of the failing main floor deck, existing sunroom, and lower patio, making way for a structurally reinforced rebuild tailored to modern living.

To ensure lasting durability, the new foundation system was meticulously engineered with deep pilings and a reinforced grade-beam structure, supporting a robust column-and-beam framework. This structural investment allows the newly constructed waterproof deck to span the full length of the home, delivering both strength and functionality. Finished with contemporary black linear handrails, integrated lighting, and upgraded rainwater management systems, the deck creates an elevated outdoor living experience with sweeping views of the Cascade Range and SODO valley.

The connection between indoor and outdoor spaces was reimagined with a fully renovated sunroom that now serves as a bright executive office. A custom four-panel glass accordion door and adjacent picture window maximize natural light and create a seamless transition to the deck, enhancing both usability and visual impact.
