This West Seattle kitchen remodel was designed to improve flow, functionality, and natural light while honoring the home’s existing character. In collaboration with designer Sara Wise, we removed the wall between the dining room and kitchen to create an open-concept layout. The kitchen footprint was expanded by eliminating the existing eating nook and relocating the exterior door, allowing for a more efficient design and a new range location.

A custom arched opening was introduced to match the existing architectural details in the dining room, creating a cohesive transition between spaces. The kitchen remodel features custom cabinetry by Belmont Cabinets, a new central island, and honeycomb floor tile for added texture and visual appeal. A fully enclosed hood range provides a clean, modern focal point, complemented by updated electrical, new lighting fixtures, and custom wall shelving designed by Sara. All new fixtures, appliances, and fresh paint complete the space, delivering a refined, functional kitchen tailored for modern living.
